CA/US Borders Still Remain Open To Trade, Commerce And Essential Traffic | Q&A

Today, we thought we would share with you some of the questions that we've had come in from our importing clients.

Q: Are Borders Closed For Commercial Traffic?

A: All borders do still remain open to commercial carriers and commercial importers. Commercial carriers are registered with Canada customs and commercial importers are known importers with Canada Customs, and registered with a business number.

Q: Is There Any Affect On Hand-Carried Goods?

If you are already outside of Canada and are returning back to Canada with your hand-carried commercial or personal goods, Canada Customs will process your return to Canada.
